FiveM vs RageMP

This article is an introduction to the GTA V RP world and I am trying to give you as much personal (and professional) insight as possible so you get the most information possible to make up your mind. A while back I did write another article on FiveM vs RageMP but since I wrote that article, a few things have changed. Most notably, the fact Rockstar (and Take-Two) stopped trying to sue FiveM’s creators (CFX) and decided, if you can’t beat them… join them. And so FiveM was ultimately taken over by Rockstar (on the quiet) and now Rockstar are reaping the rewards that the FiveM community brings.

Our conclusion now? We still side with FiveM being the number one choice for GTA V Roleplay. Not only did it pioneer the original GTA Modification, which means it was light years ahead of RageMP, it was ultimately bought out by Rockstar themselves and so now you have a dedicated, professional team of coders who actually designed and programmed the game itself, so it’s a no-brainer that FiveM will have more offerings, more support and more technical features to make it the best modification to date.
