Do I NEED a Launcher Vault?

No. Each plan comes with a preset amount of storage free. If you need more, you can always host your own assets on your own Web Hosting Servers, VPS, Dedicated Server or Amazon S3 Bucket.

What exactly is a Launcher Vault?

A Launcher Vault is a dedicated storage allocation on our private cloud network. It allows you to store your launcher backgrounds, videos, music, and images remotely rather than bundling them into your executable.

How does the CDN caching work?

We use our own private global Content Delivery Network (CDN) with edge caching. When a user opens your launcher, assets are downloaded from the server geographically closest to them, ensuring lightning-fast load times globally.

Can I upgrade my Vault later?

Absolutely. If your project grows and you need more space, you can seamlessly upgrade your plan from the dashboard without experiencing any downtime.

Why choose a Vault over Web Hosting/Server?

Our private CDN network is a global cluster of nodes around the world. When you upload your assets to our Launcher Vaults, it ensures the cache is mirrored across all the nodes. This way no matter if your launcher user is in Hong Kong or Great Britain, everyone gets the same, lightning fast speeds to download your launcher assets.

Are there bandwidth limits?

No. While your storage capacity is capped based on your plan (1GB, 5GB, or 15GB), we do not meter the bandwidth used to deliver those assets to your players.
