🌐 Editor Loading Problems

💥 Editor gets stuck on Splash Screen (Loading...)

This can happen if we provide an internal editor update. The fix is usually easy. Whilst you are stuck on the Splash Screen (loading), click on the Hamburger Menu at the very top of the Editor (next to the icon) and select "Restart". It should prompt you to Login again (or won't if auto-login is enabled). Once this happens, it will stick on the splash again, simply click the Hamburger menu again and go down to "Tools > Clear Cache".

This should now load the Editor up.

💥 Editor shows a blank or white screen

If the editor loads but shows nothing, something interrupted loading or rendering.

Try this:

  • Restart the application
  • Check your internet connection
  • Disable VPNs or proxies temporarily
  • Ensure firewall or antivirus is not blocking the app

Important Notice

Some security software silently blocks embedded content, which can prevent the editor from rendering at all.

⏳ Stuck on “Checking server...” or login hangs

The app performs secure checks during login. Even small network issues can stop it progressing.

Fix checklist:

  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Disable VPN or custom DNS
  • Check system date and time
  • Try again after a minute

🔄 Editor reloads or logs you out randomly

This usually points to session instability.

Common causes:

  • Network switching, such as WiFi to Ethernet
  • System going to sleep
  • Temporary connection drops

Fix:

  • Restart the app
  • Stay on a stable network
  • Avoid leaving the editor idle for long periods

If someone else logs in to your account from another computer or IP address, it will terminate your session abruptly.

🕒 "Login request expired" error on login

This usually points to your local system clock being out of sync with our secure servers, which triggers our anti-replay security measures.

Common causes:

  • "Set time automatically" being disabled in Windows settings
  • Your system clock naturally drifting by more than 2 minutes
  • Changing time zones without updating your system time

Fix:

Right-click the clock on your Windows taskbar, select Adjust date/time, and click the Sync now button. Make sure "Set time automatically" is turned on.

⚙️ Performance and Hardware

🐢 Editor feels slow or laggy

Performance depends on your system and graphics setup.

Improve performance:

  • Close unnecessary apps
  • Update graphics drivers
  • Disable overlays such as Discord or GeForce Experience
  • Disable any third-party "performance mods" for your GPU
  • Restart the app

Pro Tip

The editor uses hardware acceleration where available. Outdated drivers can significantly reduce performance.

✨ Flickering, glitches, or strange UI behaviour

Usually caused by graphics rendering issues.

Fix:

  • Update GPU drivers
  • Disable overclocking tools
  • Restart the app

🧊 Editor freezes or becomes unresponsive

This can happen during heavier operations.

What to do:

  • Wait a few seconds, as background processes may still be running
  • Avoid repeated clicking
  • Restart if it does not recover

🔐 Login and Account

❌ “Invalid login” with correct details

Double-check the basics:

  • Caps Lock is off
  • There are no trailing spaces
  • You are using the correct email or username


Be very careful here. If you enter incorrect details 3 times, you will get locked out. If you persistently get locked out, the entire account may get locked down. If you have forgotten your password, just click the "Forgot Password" link in the login dialog.

🔓 Login works but editor does not open

Local session data may be corrupted.

Fix:

  • Go to Tools → Clear Data
  • Restart the app and log in again

💾 “Remember Me” not working

Some systems restrict secure credential storage.

Fix:

  • Run the app from a normal location, not a temporary folder
  • Ensure your system allows credential storage
  • Try logging in again after restart

💾 Saving, Building and Publishing

🚫 Save or Publish fails

Only one action can run at a time.

Fix:

  • Wait a moment and try again
  • Avoid triggering multiple actions quickly
  • Restart the app if needed

⚠️ Changes not saving

Check the following:

  • Your internet connection is active
  • The editor is fully loaded before saving
  • The app is not closed during save
  • Nobody else has logged into your account (if you have shared details)
  • You have an active Game Launcher Creator subscription/license

🔨 Build or Test buttons are disabled

These features unlock only when everything is ready.

Fix:

  • Reload the editor
  • Ensure a project is open
  • Restart the application

📁 Files and Assets

📂 Folder or file selection does nothing

Usually caused by system permission restrictions.

Fix:

  • Run the app normally
  • Check folder permissions
  • Try a different directory

🎞️ Asset Optimizer not working

On first use, required components may be downloaded.

What to expect:

  • A slight delay on first run
  • An internet connection is required

If it fails:

  • Restart the app
  • Check your connection

🔄 Updates and Stability

🔁 App behaving oddly after an update

Old files can sometimes cause conflicts.

Fix:

  • Restart your PC
  • Reinstall the latest version if needed

💀 App closes unexpectedly

This can happen if the environment is unstable or something interferes.

Try this:

  • Disable aggressive antivirus temporarily
  • Restart your system
  • Reinstall the app
