Hello! The reason I bought this software is because the user confuses the number of files in the main game folder of GameGuru, so my intention is to locate all GameGuru files in a subfolder and in the main folder you can see only the file of the launcher and two folders, one of data folder and the one of the game. How do I write the file path? This did not work for me folder/file.exe and this also not working folder\file.exe

Hey Rafamem,

Try \folder\thisfile.exe - you will need the leading \

Hi @rafamem,

I have been investigating this further and it seems it's not a fault with Game Launcher Creator but GameGuru, the same is repeated for FPSC. I thought it was quite strange when you first mentioned it as I tested this feature out quite extensively, as it's one of the main features of a launcher and it worked with all my tests.

It would appear you can't run (or call) the executable for these files from an external directory as it sets the 'working' path to the one of the launcher, it passes it through. I can't seem to find a way to change that, it's a TGC thing, however I have found a way around this. You can create a 'shortcut' to the app in question in the same folder as the app, then run that.

For example, if you create a shortcut to tbe.exe, then rename it to tberun then in GLC use tbe\tberun it will then launch the game as it's changing the working directory.
