Drag n Drop Editing
Our Game Launcher software application is a feature-rich, real-time editor.
You construct and design your custom game launcher in a real-time window, basically how you see it in the editor is exactly how your users will see it when it is built.
The GLCV3 editor is a intuitive interface, containing all the usual features you would expect an editor to have such as alignment, grid movement and quick access to object resizing and settings.
Insert new objects with A Click
Inside the GLCV3 editing software is an object palette containing all the available objects for you to insert directly into your Game Launcher window.
You can select an object with the mouse to view the description of the object.
You can double-click an object to insert that object into your game launcher. There are no limits on the amount of objects you can use in your launchers.
The object palette automatically updates the available objects if you install a new plugin or addon.
Pixel Perfect Movement
The GLCV3 real-time launcher editor window is at your disposal.
You can instantly drag ‘n drop your objects wherever you like and you can use the grid based movement.
If you need to refine the positioning of an object, you can also use pixel perfect movement simply by holding down the SHIFT key when moving, or by using the arrow keys on your keyboard to ensure you get pixel perfect precision when positioning an object whether it’s an image, a video, a button or text.
Object Resizing
The GLCV3 editor now includes free, in-editor resizing.
You can simply select any object, click on resize and then use any of the handles to resize your object in real-time inside the editor.
If you require pixel perfect resizing, you can achieve this very quickly by using the object properties toolbar at the side which allows you to type in the exact Width and Height of the object and it will instantly reflect the changes inside the editor.
Duplication and Cloning
GLCV3 makes it really easy to duplicate or ‘clone’ an object inside the editor.
You simply select the object and click the duplicate button on the object toolbar.
This will make an exact copy of that object into a new instance.
It will even copy over all the settings allowing for fast development of your launcher.
Object Locking
The GLCV3 editor allows you to lock objects on any layer.
It will also save the ‘lock state’ to the project file meaning when you re-open your project to resume editing, locked objects will still remain locked until unlocked.
Locking objects is super-necessary sometimes when you are finished with an object’s position and size and you don’t want to be accidentally clicking on it.
Object Settings
Objects settings are now accessible from directly inside the editor itself.
You can also call the object settings from the top toolbar and from the right-hand window pane.
You can even access an object’s settings when the object is locked in the top toolbar. Super-fast editing on the go!
Object Alignment
The GLCV3 live editor contains all the familiar features of Windows editors such as left, center and right alignment at the click of a button.
From the top toolbar you can quickly align objects to any position and you use the built-in grid system.
You can also use the quick object properties box on the right to pixel perfect the positioning and sizing of the object.
Smooth Editing 100x faster!
A brand new editor coded from scratch brings familiar features seen elsewhere such as resizing, aligning and duplicating!
Layers and Layer Editing
GLCV3 allows for up to 10 layers to be used in your launcher pages.
This means more room for stacking and layering objects to get the right ordering.
You can now also edit by layer, making editing your launcher much faster.
10-Layer Support
Support for up to 10 layers inside your launcher pages.
This makes for much easier editing, layering and ordering.
Layers allow you to order objects from front to back.
Show / Hide Layers
In GLCV3 you can show and hide any of the layers.
This means you can design your launcher pages faster by hiding layers.
By quickly showing and hiding layers you can design your launcher faster.
Locking Objects
Combined with the layer system, you can now lock and unlock objects completely.
They will remain locked until you unlock them, even when re-opening your project.
Toolbars, Snaps and Alignments
The GLCV3 editor is jam-packed with tasty features you find in all your favorite editors like Photoshop, GIMP and video editors.
The new “in-editor toolbar” enables you to quickly switch between movement, resizing, properties, cloning and deleting.
Full Grid Movement
Snap your objects to a grid inside GLCV3’s real-time editor.
You can set the custom size for the grid to anything you like for both X and Y.
